Common implementation standards for seamless carbon steel pipes

Keywords: seamless carbon steel pipe implementation standards, seamless carbon steel pipe uses
Common implementation standards for seamless carbon steel pipes:

1. ASTM A106 standard
ASTM A106 is one of the standards issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials. It is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines and is generally used in pipeline systems in chemical, petroleum refining, pharmaceutical and other industrial fields. This standard divides steel pipes into three grades, namely A, B, and C. Grade A is a steel pipe for low-temperature processing, and grade B/C is a steel pipe for high temperature.

2. ASTM A53/A53M standard

ASTM A53/A53M is a standard issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials for carbon steel welded pipes and seamless pipes used as medium-pressure pipes for fluid and gas transportation. This standard divides steel pipes into three grades, namely A, B, and C. Different grades have different pressure resistance and chemical composition requirements. Among them, Grade A steel pipes are only used for daily use other than mechanical processing.

3. EN 10210-1 standard
EN 10210-1 is a European standard for steel coils and heating tubes used in the production of steel air heat exchangers and boilers in areas such as machining, structural engineering, excavation and mining. This standard specifies the design and specifications based on hot-dip galvanized pipes.

4. DIN 1629 standard
German standard for seamless stainless steel and carbon steel pipes for general purposes.

5. JIS G3454 standard
JIS G3454 is a Japanese industrial standard for low-temperature welded and seamless steel pipes for transporting water, oil and gas. The chemical composition, mechanical properties and other physical parameters specified in the standard are restricted accordingly.

6. GB8162-2008 standard
GB8162-2008 is a national standard in China, applicable to pipe materials that are not corrosion-resistant, not high temperature, not high pressure and used in general mechanical structures. This standard divides steel pipes into 10 numbers. The ratio of the inner diameter and wall thickness of the steel pipe is ≥6%, and the larger number must be less than 5% of the diameter.

GB8163 "Seamless steel pipe for fluid transportation"
GB/T9711 "Technical Delivery Conditions for Steel Pipes for Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry"
GB6479 "High-pressure seamless steel pipe for fertilizer equipment"
GB9948 "Seamless steel pipe for petroleum cracking"
GB3087 "Seamless steel pipes for low and medium pressure boilers"
GB/T5310 "Seamless steel pipes for high-pressure boilers"

The above are the common implementation standards for seamless carbon steel pipes. By comparing and distinguishing each standard, you can better choose the carbon steel tube that suits your needs.

Common uses of seamless carbon steel pipes:

1. Transport fluid
Seamless carbon steel pipe is a pipe used to transport various fluids, liquids and gases. It is usually used to transport liquids in oil and gas pipelines, water pipelines, chemical pipelines and other fields. It can also be used to transport natural gas, petroleum and other pressure liquids. Due to its high strength and resistance to breakage, seamless carbon steel pipe has become a widely used transportation pipeline material.

2. Mechanical processing and manufacturing
Seamless carbon steel pipes (mechanical tubing) are widely used in mechanical processing and manufacturing. This kind of pipe can be used in the production and processing of various equipment, such as automobile parts, aircraft parts, electrical equipment, etc. Due to the high strength and stability of seamless carbon steel pipe, it can withstand high temperature and high pressure industrial environments.

3. Automobile manufacturing
Seamless carbon steel pipes are also widely used in automobile manufacturing. This kind of pipe can be used in car engines and exhaust systems, and can also be used to make other car parts. The high strength and good corrosion resistance of seamless carbon steel pipes make it an indispensable material in the automotive manufacturing industry.

4. Petrochemical industry
Seamless carbon steel pipes are also widely used in the petrochemical industry. This pipe can be used in oil and gas extraction, transportation and processing. It can be used to manufacture pipelines for oil drilling rigs, import and export pipelines for oil storage tanks, etc. In addition, it can be used in other chemical industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, chemical production and coating production.

To sum up, seamless carbon steel pipes are widely used in various fields. Its high strength, excellent mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance make it an indispensable metal product in many industries.
