ASTM A106 Gr.B seamless steel pipe belongs to the American standard steel pipe, A106-B. ASTM A106 seamless steel pipe includes two processes: cold drawing and hot rolling. Note:
① Below the specified maximum carbon content, for every 0.01% reduction in carbon content, the A106 seamless steel pipe is allowed to increase the manganese content by 0.06% above the specified maximum manganese content, but the maximum shall not exceed 1.35%;

②The sum of the five elements Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, and V shall not exceed 1.00%

ASTM A106 Gr.B seamless steel pipe production process:
The production process of seamless steel pipe mainly includes the following steps:
1. Preparation stage: cut the steel plate into blanks of a certain length, clean and trim them.
2. Perforation stage: Perforate the blank into a circular steel pipe, and clean and trim the inner and outer surfaces.
3. Heat treatment stage: The steel pipe is subjected to high-temperature tempering treatment to eliminate stress and improve corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
4. Finishing stage: The steel pipes are straightened, cut and marked to meet customer needs.
5. Inspection stage: Conduct visual inspection and non-destructive testing of steel pipes to ensure that product quality meets standard requirements.

The steel mill should conduct melting analysis for each heat of steel to determine the percentage content of each element specified in Table 1. If the specified secondary smelting process is used, the smelting analysis data should be taken from one remelted ingot or its products for each primary smelting heat. The chemical composition determined in this way, or the chemical composition determined by the finished product analysis by the steel pipe factory, shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 1; if the steel pipe factory does not make steel, it shall also be reported to the buyer or its representative.
