What is the FBE coating of spiral welded pipe?

FBE of spiral welded pipe (SSAW) is the abbreviation of the English name of Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) "FUSION BOND EPOXY". There are two kinds of FBE coating for spiral welded pipe: single-layer and double-layer.

The so-called spiral welded pipe FBE coating generally refers to single-layer fusion bonded epoxy coating. The single-layer FBE coating adopts special fusion bonded epoxy powder coating as the film-forming material. This epoxy powder coating is a thermosetting coating, made of solid epoxy resin, curing agent and a variety of additives by mixing and crushing process.
