Square tube specifications and parameters

Square tube is a name for square tube, and its side lengths are all equal. It is rolled from strip steel after process treatment. Square tubes are generally made by unpacking, flattening, curling, and welding the strips into round tubes, then rolling the round tubes into square tubes, and then cutting them to the required length, usually 50 pieces per package.

1. The allowable deviation of the wall thickness of square tubes shall not exceed plus or minus 10% of the nominal wall thickness when the wall thickness is not greater than 10 mm, and shall be plus or minus 8% of the nominal wall thickness when the wall thickness is greater than 10 mm. 2. The usual delivery length of square tubes is 4000mm-12000mm, with 6000mm and 12000mm being the more common ones. Square tubes are allowed to be delivered with short length and non-fixed length products of not less than 2000 mm, and can also be delivered in the form of interface pipes, but the buyer should cut off the interface pipes when using them. The weight of short-length and non-fixed length products does not exceed the total delivery quantity. 5%, for square and rectangular tubes with a theoretical weight greater than 20 kg/m, it shall not exceed 10% of the total delivery quantity.

3. The curvature of the square tube shall not be greater than 2 mm per meter, and the total curvature shall not be greater than 0.2% of the total length.
