How do high-pressure boiler tubes work?

High-pressure boiler tube is a mechanical device used to generate high-pressure steam. Its working principle is based on the conversion of thermal energy and kinetic energy.

High-pressure boiler tubes usually consist of the boiler body, combustion system, heat exchange system and control system. When fuel (such as fuel oil, natural gas, or coal) is burned in a boiler, the heat of combustion heats the water in the boiler. By heating, the temperature inside the water increases, forming steam.

What are boiler heating tubes?
Boiler heating tube is a tubular element, mainly composed of two parts: tube shell and heating core. The heating core is usually made of nickel-chromium alloy, which has good rigidity, strong corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good thermal conductivity, and can well meet the needs of boiler heating. The tube shell plays the role of heat insulation, stabilizing the heating core and protecting safety.

Working principle of boiler heating tube:
The working principle of boiler heating tubes is to use physical principles such as electric current and heat conduction to heat water. Specifically, when power is applied, the nickel-chromium alloy heating core in the heating tube will generate heat, and then conduct the heat to the inside of the tube shell through conduction between the heating core and the tube shell, so that the water is heated on the outer wall of the tube shell to achieve desired temperature.

Generally, there are two types of heating methods for boiler heating pipes, namely dry heating and water immersion heating. Dry heating means that the surface of the heating core is in contact with the air, while water immersion heating means that the heating core is completely immersed in water for heating. Among them, dry heating has high efficiency, but water needs to be added in time during the heating process to prevent the heating tube from overheating and damage. Water immersion heating is suitable for long-term heating operations and can have better control in terms of temperature and pressure.
