How are pipes and flanges connected?

3. Clamping connection
A clamping connection is made by installing a clamping device between the flange and the pipe to firmly connect them together. This method is suitable for connecting some elastic pipes and used in high temperature and high pressure environments. Clamped connections are flexible and easy to disassemble and maintain, but they are also prone to leaks.
