Seamless steel pipes can be seen everywhere in our daily use and are widely used in many fields. The following briefly introduces the three characteristics of
stainless steel seamless pipes.
1. Corrosion resistance
Most stainless steel products require good corrosion resistance. Seamless steel pipes are similar to Class I and Class II tableware, kitchen utensils, water heaters, water dispensers, etc. Some foreign businessmen also conduct corrosion resistance tests on products: use NACL aqueous solution to warm to boiling, after a period of time the solution is drained, washed and dried, and the weight loss is determined to determine the degree of corrosion.
2. Welding processability
Soldering performance requirements vary from product to product. A kind of tableware usually does not require welding performance, even some pot companies. However, most products require raw materials with good welding properties, such as second-class tableware, thermos cups, steel pipes, water heaters, water dispensers, etc.
3. Polishing
At present, stainless steel products are generally polished during the production process, and only a few products such as water heaters, water dispenser linings, etc. do not need polishing. Therefore, this requires good polishing properties of the raw material.
The main factors affecting polishing performance are as follows:
1. Surface defects of raw materials. Such as scratches, pitting, soaking, etc.
2. Raw materials for
seamless pipes. If the hardness is too low, it is not easy to polish when polishing (BQ is not good), if the hardness is too low, orange peel phenomenon will easily appear on the surface when deep drawing, which will affect the performance of BQ. BQ with high hardness is relatively good.
3. After deep drawing, small black spots and RI high imitation DGING will also appear on the surface of the area with large deformation, which will affect the BQ property.
