Ultrasonic flaw detection standard of straight seam welded pipe

Keywords:Ultrasonic flaw detection standard of straight seam welded pipe
In the non-destructive testing of ultrasonic welding of straight seam welded pipes, there are commonly used: ultrasonic flaw detection, X-ray inspection, film inspection. There are single-sided double-sided flaw detection, double-sided double-side flaw detection, and single-sided one-sided flaw detection. When selecting the flaw detection method, it is determined according to the wall thickness of the straight seam welded pipe and the width of the weld seam. The thick and wide weld seam is suitable for single-sided double-side flaw detection or double-sided double sides.

Execution standards for straight seam welded pipe inspection:
GB11345-89, GB/T11345-2013 Non-destructive inspection of flaw detection, primary and secondary inspection, select three-level inspection for structural piping with low requirements.

The welded steel pipe shall be subjected to mechanical performance test, flattening test and flare test after the finished product is completed. It is also necessary to carry out the pressure bearing test in the 2.5Mpa of the steel pipe, and it is necessary to maintain no leakage for one minute. The eddy current flaw detection method can be used instead of the hydraulic pressure test. The eddy current flaw detection is to fix the probe on the frame, and the flaw detection and the weld seam are kept at a distance of 3 to 5 mm, and the weld seam is comprehensively scanned by the rapid movement of the steel pipe.
