Carbon seamless steel pipe bundling details:
The bundling requirements of seamless steel pipes mainly include the following points:
1. Avoid damage: Seamless pipes should be prevented from being damaged during bundling and transportation.
2. Same batch number: The same bundle of seamless pipes should be steel pipes of the same batch number (except those permitted and approved by product standards).
3. Weight limit: The weight of each bundle of steel pipes should not exceed 5000kg. For steel pipes with an outer diameter greater than 159mm or special-shaped steel pipes with a cross-sectional circumference greater than 5000mm, they can be delivered in bulk. With the agreement of both the supply and demand parties, the weight of each bundle of steel pipes can exceed 5000kg, and they can also be delivered in small packages.
4. Firm bundling: Bundled steel pipes should be firmly tied with steel belts or steel wires. One end of each threaded steel pipe should be equipped with a pipe joint. The threads and processed surfaces of the steel pipes and their pipe joints must be coated with anti-rust oil or other anti-rust agents.
5. Protection measures: According to the requirements of the buyer, plastic protective sleeves can be added to both ends of the steel pipe. Cold-drawn or cold-rolled stainless steel pipes with a wall thickness greater than 1.5 mm should be tightly wrapped with no less than 2 layers of sackcloth or plastic cloth and tied with steel belts or steel wires.
6. Special requirements: For precision pipes with a length of 6 meters or more, each bundle should be tied with at least 8 straps, divided into 3 groups, tied into 3-2-3; for precision pipes with a length of less than 6 meters, each bundle should be tied with at least 5 straps, divided into 3 groups, tied into 2-1-2; for precision pipes with a length of 3 meters or more, each bundle should be tied with at least 3 straps, divided into 3 groups, tied into 1-1-1. If there are special requirements, 4 plastic clasps or nylon rope loops can be added to a single precision pipe, and the clasps or rope loops should be tied firmly.
These requirements ensure the safety and protection of seamless tubes during transportation and storage, and are also easy to manage and use.
