Become a major highlight. What are the main features of this technology?

1. Size of the parts accurately and surface smoothness: At present, the general dimensional accuracy of the cold extrusions developed in China can reach 8-9 grades. If the ideal lubrication is adopted, the accuracy of the cold extrusions is second only to the polished surface. Therefore, the parts produced by the cold extrusion method generally do not need to be reprocessed, and only a small number of parts need to be finished (ground).

2. Saving raw materials: The utilization ratio of cold extrusion materials can usually reach more than 80%. For example, the utilization rate of the piston cutting and cutting processing materials of the Liberation brand automobile is 43.3%, while the material utilization rate is increased to 92% when the cold extrusion is used; and if the universal joint bearing sleeve is changed to cold extrusion, the material utilization rate is from the past. 27.8% to 64%. It can be seen that using cold extrusion to produce mechanical parts can save a lot of steel and non-ferrous metal materials.

3. High productivity: The efficiency of production of mechanical parts by cold extrusion is very high, especially for parts with large production volume, and production with cold extrusion can be several times, several times or even several hundred times more than that of cutting. For example, the automotive piston pin is 3.2 times colder than the cutting process. At present, cold extrusion piston pin automata are used to further increase productivity. The productivity of a cold extrusion automaton is equivalent to the productivity of 100 ordinary lathes or 10 four-axis automatic lathes.

4. Machinable parts with complex shapes: such as profiled cross-sections, internal teeth, special-shaped holes, and blind holes, etc. These parts are difficult to complete with other processing methods, but are very convenient with cold extrusion processing.
