Quenching with water as quenchant, called water quenching. The advantage is in high temperature (550 ℃ ~ 650 ℃) cooling faster, the disadvantage is that the low temperature (200 ℃ ~ 300 ℃) also cooling faster, easy to cause greater stress on the organization. Water quenching is the high temperature objects into the water, and then burning red, and then into the water, so repeatedly, can improve the rigidity.

The principle of water quenching is to melt the molten material at about 1400 ℃ with a stream of water under a pressure so as to cause a total amount of solidification and solidification and fragmentation into fine particles so that the glass structure of the molten material is fixed down, stop the recovery of calcium fluorophosphate crystals. Fluorine and phosphorus content in the melt higher and higher alkalinity, fluorophafide crystal recovery faster, so the water quenching pressure will be higher; the other, combined fluorine and phosphorus lower and lower alkalinity, fluorosilicate crystal recovery to be slower, so the water pressure can be lower. The melt is water quenched to the finer, the cooling is faster, the product of the citrate dissolution rate will be higher; the other hand, the particles are large, co-surface although the first cold, but the internal cold slowly, the product of citronellolysis rate is not high.
