X-ray inspection operation of spiral welded pipe wall thickness

The safe operation steps of X-ray flaw detection of spiral welded pipe (ssaw) wall thickness are as follows:

1. The operator of the X-ray machine must hold a professional certificate in radiographic flaw detection and be familiar with the performance of the machine.
2. Before the flaw detection operation starts, safety protection work should be done well. Pull up the warning rope at the border of the radiation hazard area; place the "Ionizing Radiation Hazard" signboard at the entrance of the main passage. The radiation location and radiation time must be approved by the on-site construction management personnel. Radiation personnel evacuate the radiation hazard area.
3. Before the X-ray machine is powered on, the casing should be properly grounded, and the power supply can be powered only after checking that the voltage of the power supply matches the voltage used by the X-ray machine.

4. Before approaching the high-voltage generator, it should be confirmed that the high voltage has been cut off, and the radiation has been terminated before approaching the high-voltage generator.

5. During the working process, radiation operators should carry radiation alarms and wear dose badges.
6. Once a failure occurs, whether it is a radiation accident or an instrument failure, the high voltage should be cut off immediately, and the person in charge of the company should be notified in time, and the person in charge of the company will judge and deal with it accordingly.
7. When the equipment leaves the warehouse, check the equipment carefully to ensure that there is no problem and whether all kinds of parts are complete, especially the signs, safety ropes, dosimeters, dose badges, etc. At the end of the work, these items should be collected in time and sent back to the warehouse together with the X-ray machine.

8. When the equipment is returned to the warehouse, the use record of the X-ray machine should be filled in for examination.
