1. Whether there are burrs, pits, pitting and breaks on the surface of the strip steel. When strip steel leaves the warehouse, it is wrapped in large rolls. The outer surface is visible, but the inner surface is not visible. In fact, this mainly depends on the exposed outer surface and the horizontal surface, because the production of outer strip steel is a set of process conditions. If there is nothing going on outside, there is basically no problem inside. In addition, during the production process of spiral steel pipes, after the strip is stretched and flattened by the leveling machine, attention should be paid to the appearance of the strip at any time. If there is a problem, stop immediately and then perform repair welding.

2. The material of strip steel is the most common problem of strip steel. The state has clear regulations on the content of various elements. First of all, when purchasing strip steel, the material cannot be seen with the naked eye and can only be viewed through the material list given by the steel mill. However, when we purchase, we cannot be sure whether the material list given by the steel mill corresponds to the strip steel product we purchased, so we should select some of the strip steel we purchased for testing. There are clear requirements for the selection of strip steel samples. First, select 3 pieces in different positions, and the selected sizes are 40MM in width and 80MM in length. After the test results come out, compare them with the material list given by the corresponding steel mill.

3. When purchasing strip steel, you should first pay attention to whether it is a product of a well-known national steel mill. The quality of strip steel products from large steel mills is guaranteed, although the price is more expensive than that of ordinary steel mills. Nowadays, in order to reduce costs, some spiral pipe manufacturers use strip steel products from small steel mills, which cannot guarantee integrity and quality.

Methods to increase the stability of spiral welded pipes:

1. Some small steel, thin steel plates, steel strips, silicon steel plates, small diameter or thin-walled steel pipes, various cold-rolled, cold-drawn steels and high-priced, corrosive metal products can be stored in the warehouse.
2. Small and medium-sized steel, wire rods, steel bars, medium-diameter steel pipes, steel wires, steel wire ropes, etc. , can be stored in a well-ventilated material shed, but must be covered with mats.
3. Materials that are corrosive to steel such as acids, alkalis, salts, cement, etc. must not be stacked in the warehouse. Different types of steel should be stacked separately to prevent confusion and contact corrosion.
4. Large steel, rails, steel plates, large diameter steel pipes, forgings, etc. Can be stacked in the open air.
5. The site or warehouse where spiral steel pipe products are kept should be kept away from weeds and all debris that produce harmful gases or dust, and the steel should be kept clean.
