Installation and use of high-pressure boiler tubes

Keywords: high-pressure boiler tube installation and use, boiler tube installation
The installation and use of high-pressure boiler tubes must strictly follow technical specifications and safety standards to ensure their reliability and safety in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. The following are key points:

Preparation:

1. Material selection and quality inspection

Before installation, the boiler tubes must be thoroughly and carefully inspected for quality, including appearance inspection for defects, boiler tube material, accurate dimensional measurement, and non-destructive testing to ensure that the quality of the tubes is intact. At the same time, prepare the required tools and materials, such as welding equipment, sealing materials, and protective equipment.

Material requirements: High-pressure boiler tubes usually use high-temperature and high-pressure resistant alloy steels such as 15CrMoG, 12Cr1MoVG, P91/P92, or austenitic stainless steel (such as Super304H, HR3C)

Quality inspection:
Chemical composition analysis (to ensure that elements such as C, Cr, and Mo meet the standards).
Mechanical properties test (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation).
Non-destructive testing (ultrasonic UT, radiographic RT flaw detection).

2. Cleaning the pipeline
Before installation, the boiler tube should be thoroughly cleaned to remove oil, rust and other impurities on the surface to ensure welding quality and sealing performance.

3. Measurement and cutting
According to the specific installation requirements, accurate measurement and cutting are carried out to ensure that the length and angle of the pipeline meet the design requirements.

Installation of high-pressure boiler tubes:

1. Pipeline connection
Pre-assemble the cut pipeline to ensure that the positions of each joint are aligned, and fix the support frame or support bracket according to the design requirements.

2. Pipeline welding
During the installation process, strictly follow the correct installation process and welding process to ensure the welding quality and the tightness and sealing of the connection. Relevant safety regulations need to be followed during welding, and protective measures should be taken.

3. Weld detection
After welding is completed, non-destructive testing is performed on the welds and connection parts to ensure that there are no leaks or cracks, and the overall structure and support of the pipeline are checked.

4. Install auxiliary equipment
As needed, install auxiliary equipment such as valves, pressure gauges, thermometers, etc. for subsequent operation and maintenance.

5. System debugging
After the pipeline is installed, start and debug the system to check for air leakage, water leakage and other phenomena to ensure the normal operation of the system. Strictly control the operating parameters of the boiler so that it does not exceed the design tolerance of the boiler tube.

6. Post-installation inspection
After the pipeline system is installed, a water pressure test of 1.5 times the working pressure is required, and the pressure holding time is not less than 30 minutes.
During the pressure test, key parts such as flange connections and welds should be checked.
For pipelines in high-temperature working environments, hot tightening is also required, that is, after the system is heated to the working temperature, the flange bolts are tightened twice to prevent thermal expansion from causing sealing failure.

7. Sorting and clearing
After the installation is completed, clean up the site to ensure that the working environment is clean and tidy, and keep relevant technical documents.

8. Inspection and maintenance
Perform regular inspection and maintenance, and use professional detection methods such as endoscope inspection, wall thickness measurement and non-destructive testing to detect potential problems in a timely manner. At the same time, special attention should be paid to avoid excessive thermal shock and mechanical damage to the boiler tube.

For example, in the installation of boilers in large thermal power plants, when welding high-pressure boiler tubes, welders with professional qualifications and rich experience must operate in accordance with strict welding standards and perform necessary post-weld heat treatment.

Conclusion:

The installation quality of high-pressure boiler tubes is directly related to the safe operation of the entire system. Only by strictly controlling key links such as materials, welding, and inspection can the long-term stable operation of the equipment be ensured. Through the strict implementation of the above steps, the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure boiler tubes can be effectively ensured.
