Repair Measures of Cracks in Small Diameter Seamless Steel Pipes

Keywords:small diameter seamless steel pipe
When small-caliber seamless steel pipe are used, cracks may occur if they are not handled properly. If they are not discovered and repaired in time, there are serious risks. Therefore, we must strictly follow the construction specifications and process requirements related to indirect processes to operate, find out more realistic welding processes and review the quality of welding quality. If a crack problem still occurs under such circumstances, we can take the following measures to fix it:
(1) Welders who perform small-diameter seamless steel pipe repair must hold corresponding project certificate. And the quality of the welding staff is always good, and the repair must reach a qualified;
(2) Mechanical defects such as hand-held grinders can be used for the removal of weld defects.
(c) Repair of the welding method and welding parameters used must be performed in accordance with the relevant welding specifications;
(4) To seriously inspect and inspect the repaired small-diameter seamless steel pipe welds;
(5) To take non-destructive testing means, check all cracks, and determine the exact location;
(6) Select the filler material that conforms to the process specification, that is, the welding rod, and dry it according to the regulations;
(7) Welding environment for small-diameter seamless steel pipe cracks to meet the welding requirements, such as temperature, rain, wind speed;
(8) After the restoration, the welder must mark the position next to the repaired position and sign the weld repair record.
(9) The long-term guarantee for the data of the rework shall be ensured, and the repaired parts of the small-caliber seamless steel tubes shall be regularly inspected during use, and problems shall be solved in time.
