Cold Drawn Pipe Process

Keywords:Cold Drawn Pipe Process
Cold drawn steel tube is pulled hot-rolled seamless steel tube at room temperature through the pipe die pore is stretched, products required diameter and wall thickness. Drawing is the production of thin-walled, very thin-walled and large-diameter thin-walled capillary tubing and the main method, the advantage of products of high dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, more complete varieties and specifications, and the process can be improved using the heat treatment method mechanical properties of the products.

Cold drawn steel production process is as follows:
① Prepare pipe material preparation, including pipe material before drawing starts, heat treatment, pickling and cold-drawn steel lubrication before. Heading refers to the head of the tube material is heated and forged thinner, so head first through extubation mold. Mainly through the heat treatment of heating, holding and cooling a series of operations, to soften the tube material, the tube material so as to reduce die wear and breakage in the drawing, but the material may be heat treated carbon steel pipe
② drawing: drawing methods are mainly pull system of law whether the mandrel, the mandrel pull short and long mandrel pull Method Method. Method without mandrel pull pull system in the process, do not install tube wells mandrel. This method can be reduced diameter pipe, but basically can not be reduced wall, generally used for the production of small diameter pipe.
③ finished production: finishing processing of finished products, including finished pipe heat treatment, correction and pipe cutting, surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the inspection, non-destructive testing and measurement of physical properties such as chemical composition of the contents.
